Episode with Kenneth Obenson MD

Dr. Obenson graduated with a medical degree from the University of Lagos, in Nigeria in 1987. After practicing family medicine in his native Cameroon for a couple years, he migrated to the US for postgraduate training in anatomic and clinical pathology in 1992 at the DC General Hospital/Howard University Hospitals, then the Louisiana State University Hospital (Shreveport - Cytopathology) and finally at Indiana University (MCCO - Indianapolis - Forensic pathology). Dr Obenson also trained in perinatal pathology (Hôpital St Justine - Montreal). He is board certified in all 5 disciplines.

 

Dr Obenson is a regular contributor to the academic press both as an author, a reviewer and chapter contributor and sits on numerous local and international committees related to the practice of forensic and perinatal pathology.

 

He is currently employed as a forensic pathologist at the Saint John Regional Hospital, and serves as Chief Forensic Pathologist for the province of New Brunswick in Eastern Canada.

 

Dr Obenson is an avid aikidoka who has also practiced Taekwondo and Karate.
