Mariangela Gomez Ferrer was born in Venezuela and graduated in Medicine from Universidad de Oriente, presenting a research project focused on Molar pregnancy, combining her passion for histology, gynecology and obstetrics. After graduating, she spent a couple of years doing social work in her hometown and also traveled to other countries in South America. She then moved to the US to complete her AP/CP training in SUNY Upstate NY, where she continued to pursue her interest in woman’s health. She will complete this GYN/breast fellowship followed by Cytopathology with the goal of becoming an advocate physician for the female group. Outside of work, she enjoys expending time with his family, learning languages, trying restaurants and taking cruises.
